A few spots are still open! 🍎 Community Cooking Class for Seniors: Coming up the first Tuesday in November. 🥙 South Philly Family Cooking Class: For our 19145 friends, join us at @rowhousegrocery. 🦃 Turkey Giveaway: Happening the Saturday before Thanksgiving. Stay tuned for details on how to register for your free turkey. Thanks to our generous donors, all classes are free and open to the public. Join us for Cooking for Heart Health: a free, four-class series created by Vetri Community Partnership’s Culinary Medicine team! 🍴 Hands-on cooking lessons 🥗 Simple, affordable heart-healthy recipes 🫶 A shared meal each week 🛒 Plus, a $25 grocery gift card after completing all four classes! Classes begin November 3 at 10:30 am and run every Monday through November 24. This series is open to new participants only. Spots are limited, register today in the link in our bio!

When you do, you’re helping students like Taylor, a high school freshman who joined our Vetri Cooking Lab summer program. One afternoon, Taylor helped prepare Greek Salad, Grilled Pineapple, and Hummus with fresh veggies. She almost skipped the hummus (“I’ve never tried it, but it’s just not something I think I’d like,” she said). But after seeing her classmates enjoying it, Taylor gave it a try (and enjoyed it!) 💛 Your support helps students like Taylor build confidence, explore new foods, and form life skills for life.

Vetri Community Partnership’s Teaching Kitchen at 915 Spring Garden Street offers unique opportunities for corporate retreats where teams of all levels and experience can cook together, learn some new life skills in the kitchen, and give back to a wonderful cause. Learn to cook delicious, heart-healthy meals this Learn to cook delicious, heart-healthy meals this fall 💛 Join us in the Teaching Kitchen for Cooking for Heart Health: a free, four-class series designed by Vetri Community Partnership’s Culinary Medicine team! Each hands-on class offers practical tips, skills, and recipes to help you cook heart-healthy meals at home. Classes begin Monday, November 3 at 10:30 am, and continue every Monday through November 24. Together, we’ll prepare affordable, approachable dishes, share a nutritious meal, and celebrate your participation with a $25 grocery gift card after the final class. This week, the Mobile Teaching Kitchen returned to This week, the Mobile Teaching Kitchen returned to @smithplayground to join @hfpearlyheadstart’s socialization event and share samples of our Black Bean & Corn Salsa! Moments like these remind us why we do what we do at Vetri Community Partnership. We love introducing new dishes to people who want to eat more nutritious foods but aren’t sure where to start, worry that eating well is expensive, or are simply balancing busy lives as new moms. Yes, please. 🥂 Sweet Amalia Market and Kitchen are coming to Vetri Community Partnership's Teaching Kitchen, and you're invited! Join us on Friday, November 7th at 4 pm for a hands-on happy hour with oysters, champagne, and New Jersey seafood chowder with huge hunks of crusty bread.
