On Tuesday, May 23rd, 100 of Vetri Community Partnership’s supporters gathered in the garden at the Fitler Club for the Friends of Marc Dinner. This second annual fundraising dinner featured VCP co-founder Chef Marc Vetri and three other chefs that he considers friends. In this case, these friends were Chefs Bobby Flay, Michael Symon, and Esther Choi.
Each chef prepared a course for our guests, starting with a pickled ramp pancake with crispy pork belly. The menu also included a blue crab and eggplant meatball, a beet goat cheese plin, and beef cheeks with roasted bone marrow. The dinner ended with a lively live auction during which we auctioned off two private dining experiences with Chef Marc Vetri and wrapped it all up with dessert.
Thanks to the generosity of our guests and sponsors, the Friends of Marc Dinner raised more than $350,000 for nutrition education in Philadelphia! Thank you to all who joined us and sponsored the dinner–we simply could not be more grateful. Until next year…cheers! 🥂
