@chef.evan.snyder shared his culinary expertise while participants jumped in with questions, learned hands-on techniques, and practiced rolling their own dolmas. After preparing everything, everyone gathered around the table to enjoy a wine tasting led by General Manager @marissachirico, followed by the delicious dinner they had created together.

Vetri Cooking Lab launched with students all across Philadelphia learning to cook nutritious foods with fresh flavors and ingredients. Neighbors came together in the Teaching Kitchen to share food, stories, and laughter, and we had the joy of welcoming Chef @kuhnnok of @kalayaphilly to guide participants through making Panang Curry.

Nutrition education is for everyone. Whether you’re a doctor helping a patient lower blood pressure, a neighbor with a longterm health goal, or a student looking to assemble an after-school snack, learning to cook with nutritious, colorful foods is an empowering life skill for life.

That’s why we were so excited to welcome Dr. Cheryl Cammock, a pediatric cardiologist, into the Teaching Kitchen to chat about how nutritious foods can not only be delicious, but contribute to health outcomes in a positive way!
