Each year the Pennsylvania Nutrition Education Network hosts an annual conference for PA SNAP-Ed providers to gather and learn from one another about challenges and successes in their work, this year our SNAP-Ed Program Director, Mary Bullock, and her team attended the conference and gave a presentation, alongside Judy Ensslin, MS, RDN, LDN, focused on a hydration promotion case study.
The presentation given by Mary and Judy highlighted the collaborative work of School District of Philadelphia students, families and staff, as well as multiple large organizations that work in hydration promotion. Additionally it reviewed this health promotion work through the lens of project management, offering tools and techniques that community health leaders can use the elevate their missions and partnerships.
