We’re hosting our first ever fundraising cooking

We’re hosting our first ever fundraising cooking class for families, and you’re invited!

On Saturday April 26, join Scott Noye AKA Chef Dad of @chefdadstable in the Teaching Kitchen for a lunchtime cooking class for families.

Together, Chef Scott will teach you how to make Macaroni & Cheese, Honey-Glazed Carrots with Rosemary, and Edible Cookie Dough. Then, we’ll all enjoy a family-style meal together in the Teaching Kitchen!

Tickets are $100 and include a cooking class for one adult and one child. An additional child is $10 and an additional adult is $25. All funds raised go directly to Vetri Community Partnership’s mission to nourish minds, bodies, and communities with nutrition education through cooking. Grab your ticket today, link in bio!

Last fall, in the Cooking for Heart Health series, a dozen people joined Vetri Community Partnership in a four-part series on how to cook and eat to support your cardiovascular health.

For Deborah, the class was a game-changer.

"I learned how to make my cooking taste good without adding lots of extra salt," she told us. "You can use things like herbs and vinegar which add flavor without increasing salt."

"The meals that they helped us prepare were very beneficial for my diabetes diagnosis—low sugar, high fiber—and the recipes were quick but still healthy," said Deressa, another Cooking for Heart Health participant.
