Cooking with kids might initially seem intimidating, but @chefdadstable is here to show you how to make it fun, simple, and doable for your family. Join us on April 26 in the Teaching Kitchen for a hands-on family cooking class!

When kids get involved in the kitchen, they feel confident, connected, and are more likely to try new foods. Cooking together helps build healthy habits and bonds while giving kids a strong sense of belonging. 💚⁣

Tickets are $100 and include a cooking class for one adult and one child. An additional child is $10 and an additional adult is $25. All funds raised go directly to Vetri Community Partnership's mission to nourish minds, bodies, and communities with nutrition education through cooking.

Cooking Confidence: Carolina’s Story

When Carolina started at her new school in Camden, she was shy and overwhelmed. Carolina's discomfort at her new school even extended to mealtimes. She didn't eat breakfast or lunch at school.

Even in her first Vetri Cooking Lab class, she stayed on the sidelines.

But by the end of the semester, she was cooking and eating the meals she helped prepare—finding confidence, connection, and even improving in math!

"Cooking club has given her a sense of belonging among a smaller, supportive group of her peers. Her math proficiency has even doubled!" says her teacher, Ms. Ramirez.
