An update from Vetri Community Partnership’s CEO Maddy Booth regarding the possible elimination of SNAP-Ed, the primary federal program dedicated to delivering nutrition education to low-income individuals and families through trusted, community-based programs.

We are now asking you for your support. If you, your students, your community, or your school has found value with our programming, we would you love if you’d contact your senators to voice your opposition to any cuts to SNAP-Ed.

Please consider taking action by sending a message of support for SNAP-Ed funding to your representative. Resources will be linked in our bio!

Congress is voting on a federal budget would eliminate SNAP-Ed-the only USDA program that uses nutrition education, health promotion, and public health approaches to increase healthy eating and physical activity-later TODAY or tomorrow.

Vetri Community Partnership sees the impact of SNAP-Ed every single day, reaching 20,000 people annually while delivering nutrition education to low-income individuals.

Plan your meals around weekly sales:
• Check store ads before you shop.
• Aim for at least 2 fruits, 2 veggies, and a lean protein each week for variety and balance.
